KMI announced the completed funding of $5 million from successful investment, multiple selections by AFWERX for STTR Phase II, and a Direct-to-Phase II contract focused on space debris management to address the most pressing challenges in the Department of the Air Force (DAF).

To promote transparency in the developing orbital debris removal market, KMI is hosting a version of Privateer's Wayfinder satellite tracker with the added feature of KMI’s pricing for debris removal. This Privateer/KMI collaboration stands alone as the only public access point for debris removal costs.

KMI Receives ISS National Lab Contract to Demonstrate REACCH Aboard International Space Station

June 28, 2023

KMI was awarded a contract from the International Space Station National Laboratory Center for the Advancement of Science in Space to demonstrate KMI’s patented REACCH technology in the International Space Station.
