ISAM, acronym for In-space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing, is a joint commercial-government effort that KMI is supporting through their technologies and these awarded contracts.

This round allows KMI to continue growing the team, progress research, and further connect with our industry, partners, and opportunities. KMI was accepted as a Contributing Member to CONFERS, to serve as a private sector stakeholder in the international satellite servicing community. The Consortium for Execution of Rendezvous and Servicing Operations (CONFERS) is an industry-led initiative that aims to leverage best practices from government and industry to research, develop, and publish consensus-derived technical and operations standards for On-Orbit Servicing and related activities.
